Full circle

Last July I wrote this post as we were going through our injections for IVF...

And just last night as I was walking and bouncing with Samantha during her (almost all night) colic cries, a song coming from the TV stopped me in my tracks. It was the "Chances" song that I had posted back in July after everyone was asking what are chances were with doing IVF. It's a song I've always loved and last night I stood in front of the TV listening to this song and holding my baby girl. I couldn't help but to smile down at her and feel so incredibly grateful...

I feel like everything has come full circle...

We took a chance and now she's in our arms.

If you are doing formula, I highly recommend Similac Alimentum for colic. We changed my LO at 8 weeks and it made a HUGE difference. We added Zantac for reflux too. Just suggestions.

It's great to take a moment to remember how sad and hard things were a year ago and how much we prayed for these little crying babies, isn't it? :) So happy for you, Sarah!

So happy for you! I still have those moments - something just reminds me of where I came from and where I am. I remember walking the living room all night long with Addy. Wow, that girl did not like to go to sleep, lol! This phase will pass....hang in there!

This gives me so much to hope for before beginning my first IVF cycle soon. Thank you and I'm so happy for you!

Do you have a wrap style baby carrier? I used one with Jane when she was super refluxy and wanting to be held all the time. I was always afraid of passing out from exhaustion and dropping her. She loved it too.
