I was about to write up a post about Samantha's first play date with her friend Ame.lia. And then I saw this posted on a friend's blog...
This poor woman lost a baby girl at 37 weeks and then just today (JUST TODAY!) had to take another baby girl off life support. Her husband and baby girl were in a terrible car crash.
I am just in tears. I don't even know this woman and all I want to do is run to her and hug her.
No one should have to experience such heartbreak....
Please take a minute to offer her some love and support. 'Cause that's what we're all here for right?
And then go hug and kiss your kids a little extra tonight.

Exactly. My heart is breaking.
It is so important to record our children's first milestones (like first playdates!!), but you're right, we are also here to offer support during times that are unthinkable. So grateful that you have Samantha safe and sound with you tonight.
unbelievably sad.
Oh no. I had been following along after hearing about the car accident but had no idea she ended up taking her off life support. This is heart breaking.
That is so heartbreaking, I read this shortly after you posted it this morning and haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Prayers to her and her family, I will definitely be holding my babies close today.
I too spent a night crying for this poor family. In a mind boggling turn of events, on the other side is a hoax and the blog has been taken down. http://warriorelihoax.wordpress.com/ Fortunately, there is no lost rainbow baby named Chloe.
