Bye Bye Hemangioma
So, it's set people. She was cleared today for her surgery on Thursday. The hemangioma will be no more. There will be a big scar for awhile, but that will fade over time. We are pretty nervous but just want it over with! We leave for Boston tomorrow afternoon and her surgery is Thursday morning. We'll stay overnight in the hospital and return home on Friday. Any prayers are appreciated! Thank you!! :) Will update from Boston on Thursday if I can...

Good luck. I am sure all will go well, but that doesn't mean its not scary and emotional.
Would you mind either posting about it or emailing me? Avery has one and the doctor said it would go away by 2, but it is no smaller. We aren't thinking surgery yet, as it doesn't cause her pain. But I guess I would like to know what the other option would be?

It's so much better to do it now than when she can remember more. I wish you all luck and a speedy recovery. I know how hard it will be to see your baby going under the knife, but you will do great.
