TVT (shortie version)

Welcome to Thought Vomit Thursday (the short version because I'm tired)...

  • I'm having trouble putting my underwear on from a standing position. One of these days I'm going to fall over. Anyone else ever have this problem at almost 8 mths pregnant? Please make me feel better about myself.
  • Sleep has been horrible! I wake up every single hour and with a full bladder. I'm starting to realize that maybe my constant thirst and (very) frequent urination is GD related...
  • I have an appointment with my endocrinologist for Monday to discuss my GD. I was thinking today that thank goodness I have not been working because between everything that has gone on during the pregnancy and the constant appointments I would never BE at work!
  • My hunger has been off the hook too.
  • I find myself the past few days waking up scratching my big belly. It itches like crazy!
  • I'm convinced NYS is going to crumble and just melt into the earth. The weather here has been nuts. It's been in the 40's-50's the past few days, yet we are supposed to get a snow storm tomorrow...
  • I plan to get a pedicure this coming week. That is if my cankles don't send the nail tech running and screaming...
  • I like singing to Samantha in the car. It's fun.

ahh the joys of being 8 months pregnant! I had the itchy belly and the inability to put anything on without sitting down or hanging onto something. As for the singing to Samantha, watch what you sing! Eminem's CD with love the way you lie w/ Rihanna came out the summer I was pregnant with Jake and I must have listened to it 1,000 times, and now it's the only song that settles him to sleep in the car. Not good! :)

I have a hard time putting on my pants too, but it is because it hurts my pubic bone so much! My OB told me i should always sit down. I try to remember! Keep me posted on your GD appt, I have one on Monday too! I'm now testing every day. Thinking of you and hoping you have a lovely weekend ahead of you. So glad we are both off work with all these appts and things!!

I have only ever paid for ONE pedicure in my life and I was around 7 months pregnant...it was amazing!

Did I have itchy belly? yup--stretching that skin!

Did I have difficulty dressing myself? double yup

Did I sing in the car every morning and afternoon during my drives to and from work? triple yup lol

Reading all your posts is making me miss my pregnancy...at the time I was in an infertiles stress bubble and now I wish I had taken more time to relax and enjoy it.

Also, I honestly think that the waking up every hour thing is natures way of preparing you for baby's arrival.

The underwear thing I have wondered how that whole process works when ones belly gets bigger...I'm sure you are not alone!! Glad you are singing to your daughter...too cute!

Never been that far pregnant but yet I do know how you feel. See I have Meniere's Disease so I get dizzy spells and even yesterday had a dickens of a time getting my panties on. It was laughable.

I had trouble putting my underwear on at the end too! I think it was difficult to lift one leg up high enough or something. I just tried to bend over a little further and be careful. I also had the belly itch - I never found anything to help with that.
