Sock it to me

I ordered my retrieval and transfer socks the other day! I tried to download a picture of them, but it's not working. They are white low cut socks with a red heart on each sock. Inside the heart it says " Even miracles take a little time." A few months ago I found a little wooden plaque with this quote on it and I fell in love. So it seemed like a perfect fit for the socks! :) I ordered them through sockprints.com. You can only place a minimum order of three, so I may have a giveaway coming up soon!

I talked to the RE's office today to figure out what meds I would need and the payment plan. Turns out, I'm going to have to order a trigger and Lupron. I had 3/4 of a bottle of Lupron left, but the nurse said you can't use it after 30 days. Oops! Didn't know that. So I just have to order those this week and hope that AF shows up soon :)

Ummm, just read an article on Yahoo that made me stop breathing for a minute. A woman gave birth to a 16 pound baby in Texas!! Just one thing comes to my mind: WTF?!

WAIT! Tell me more about these socks! I have a plaque that says the same thing that we have hanging up in the future nursery. What is the wait time on those? I've been looking for the perfect socks, but I fear that I'm out of luck since my retrieval will be in about a week...

Mom of 16 pound baby had gestational diabetes, which makes your babies HUGE! And she had a c-section. I don't think anyone's vagina could handle that!

My episiotomy from having a 7 pound, 9 ounce baby was a bit scary, so that makes me cringe!!!

Let's hope you're normal sized baby is coming soon! All you need is the right pair of socks... :)

I love that quote too! I think I heard one time that it was from Cinderella :)

The biggest baby ever born was 23lbs 12oz in 1879 - I don't even want to imagine how that went!

I heard that story...just nuts.

LOVE the sock idea. I might look into that myself (if we get to IVF in a few months)

It looks like my retrieval will be Sunday morning. I can't believe how fast that happened! I probably wouldn't get them in time for retrieval, but that's fine considering I'm sleeping the whole time :) you are such a rockstar for doing this!
