you're a way more forgiving person than i am. surely she knows better than to act that way, especially because she's infertile, too.

good luck with your procedure! i really hope it makes a difference and makes it possible for you to have your take home baby!

and thank you so much for sweet comment. i am so blessed to have such support!

You have an amazing perspective on things. I think the fact that you're able to keep (most of the time...everyone has their down days) SUCH a positive attitude is going to be so helpful to you. Maybe you'll wind up having a "friendship" with this lady...and maybe she'll be part of helping make your baby.

I'm proud of you!! :)

I know it sounds so terrible - but I really hope in your surgery that they find "the reason" you've been having this trouble and can just take care of it plain and simple. I'll be praying for that. :)

so bizarre about the nurse, I guess this stuff is super subjective. I am still hoping that you do not need to see her often.
Good luck with your Lap. I had one in Oct'09. Please email me if you have questions. my address is on my blog. I found it to be a pretty easy procedure and quick recovery.
thinking of you..

It's crazy how different our experiences can be, from what you've told us, I was shocked too!

I guess everyone has a story, and we just have to make the best of it sometimes...

Glad to hear you're doing well xo

The surgery is not so scary. I have had exactly 3 surgeries, the lap and 2 D&Cs. I never had surgery before TTC and never since...

Anyway, the recovery is not so bad except for the trapped gas, which I'm sure they've warned you about. It does get painful. Just make sure you use your pain meds and don't let them run out of your system in the first couple of days:). Then you'll be all good! My lap revealed Stage 2 endo and that was all cleared out. It was nice to finally have an answer.

The ups and downs and constant self pep talks are exhausting, I know. You are doing a wonderful job of keeping your perspective and your eye on the prize:). Take care, hun!

You are so much stronger than you even know!!!
This nurse, the one we don't really like, I understand that her being IF sucks, but really? Thats not an excuse to treat you the way you have been treated. That is more of a reason she should understand and be more caring. I know many nurses (being one) that are terrible and get nominations/awards...it doesn't take away how you were treated or how you felt by her actions. You are a much more forgiving soul than I!!

Wishing you all the luck on the lap :) Make sure you have a post-op basket of goodies full of entertainment while you plaster yourself on your bed/couch! xo

Umm, how the heck did I miss this. You must have almost choked when you saw her award. I for one am glad you're staying...I like having a clinic buddy. I know your surgery will go great and you'll be on the mend in no time.
