Out of the 16 eggs they retrieved yesterday, 15 were mature and 12 fertilized!!!! So as of right now we have 12 babies growing!!! He said he thinks they are going to doing a 5 day transfer on Thursday. I asked him when we would be updated again on how they were growing and he said they normally don't call again unless something goes wrong. Which I thought was strange, but he said if I'm worried I can call again on Tuesday to check on them. And you totally know I'M GOING TO CALL :) We are so happy with these numbers and we are hoping that at least 6 make it to transfer so we can put some back and freeze a few.
Still feeling pretty crappy, but it's all worth it!!!
Grow babies grow!!!

sarah that is awesome!!! 12 fertilized is soooo great!!! and i am excited for you that they are going to try and push for a day 5 transfer!! xoxo
Congratulations. You'll have some to spare.
I think the docs like to call whenever they can. There's a lot of disappointment related to what they do and I'd bet they enjoy conveying good news. I remember crying to my RE that I didn't think anything would work and he looked completely crushed. I know everyone in the office was thrilled any time a procedure worked out for a patient.
Best of luck.
Wonderful news! I am so excited for you!! Things have been going so well, so touch wood it keeps going that way!!

Hooray! What great news :) I'm always a little freaked out when the doctor calls themselves too - I wonder if maybe they just like giving out great news themselves sometimes! Keep resting - hopefully you feel better really soon!
That is an amazing number of fertilized eggs to work with. I can't imagine hearing nothing for so many days. Call them and then report back to us on Tues. Hoping they are dividing and doing great. Congrats on a successful retrieval and great fertilization report. I have a great feeling about this cycle for you!
Wed transfer? Looks like we will suffer in the 2ww some together this month.
