NEED PRAYERS PLEASE :(

Today was one of the scariest days of our lives. I started bleeding at work after cramping a bit during the day. I called my doctor's office and they told me to come up immediately. My husband met me there...

Lots of tears have been shed today. We are so terrified that we are miscarrying again. The u/s did show that the gestational sac had grown since Monday and there is definitely a yolk sac now! My beta on Monday was 2010. Today my beta is 3,825.6. We are breathing a sigh of relief that it went up. It didn't double, but it's close to tw0-thirds? I don't know what to think. On paper things look "ok." But my body is telling me otherwise. The cramping I'm feeling isn't like the normal cramps I've been getting. And what the hell is up with the bleeding? They couldn't really detect anything on the u/s showing where the bleeding was coming from. But every time I pee there is some in the toilet and when I wipe. Almost a watery red. But then right when I got home from the doctors, there was a small gush of bright red. I am beyond scared. I know women can have bleeding in early pregnancy and be ok, but I think the cramps are scaring me more.

The staff at the doctor's office were being very hopeful and reassuring, but I couldn't help but cry the whole time. The u/s tech was saying how beautiful the gest sac and yolk sac looked, but I can't help but think, "Yeah it's still there only because I haven't passed it yet." So awful to think, I know. But this is so scary. I came home and was crying and praying to God to please not take this baby, that he already has one of our angel babies....

I would feel better if they did see something in my uterus that's causing the bleeding so we'd have an answer. If we are meant to have a not-so-easy pregnancy, so be it. But please, God, please just let us keep this baby and deliver it in nine months...

The nurses were saying I could be really dehydrated, and that's what might be causing the cramping. She asked if I were drinking enough and I said "probably not." I have a water bottle in the classroom with me, but we are so busy that I only take a sip here and there. The nurse said I should be drinking 8fl 0z an hour...at least! So yeah, definitely haven't been doing that. I'm on bed rest tomorrow and I am PRAYING that after some rest and lots of hydration, that the cramping goes away and the bleeding miraculously stops....

We would greatly appreciate any prayers...thank you...

I am not going to lie, I don't believe much in God these days but I am praying to whatever is out there that this is just a little hiccup. I do believe in love though and I am sending you lots of that.

Try not to stress to much...(easier send then done) I did have light bleeding and cramping at the beginning and everything was fine with Kaya.

My Dr. told me if I do to much sometimes that can cause muscle cramping. And you have a "u" muscle that its just below your belly button and that can sometimes hurt when its stretches, so that could be what your feeling.

I just know that, that(those) little yok sacs are very loved and are really going to try and stick around!!!

Sending lots of love <3

I don't know if this helps much at all, but I had ZERO cramping or bleeding when I lost my first pregnancy. Then I cramped like crazy and my half-sister bled through our "normal" pregnancies. So let's remain hopeful that things will be fine. XOXO

Thinking of you. Your little one is growing and your hcg levels are rising nicely. Can't you just hibernate through the first trimester?

Holy shit Sarah...I started crying reading this post. I'm so sorry you've had such a bad day hun. I've prayed for you and this baby so much - you can bet I'm going to keep doing it. I'll ask Dan to pray with me about it tonight.

Sending you all the love, hugs, and prayers possible.

Keep drinking hun! I am hoping the bleeding is normal. So many of my friends had bleeding in the beginning for 'no reason' and now have perfect children. Hang on to the faith :)

I'm praying!

I had a similar experience with gushing blood and they told me it was a blood vessel, not the babies.

It was the scariest morning of my life so I understand. My babies are okay so far and I bet yours is too.

Hang in there and rest yourself.

Oh, that is scary! I know SO many women who bleed early on and have perfectly healthy babies. But I know nothing will ease your mind until this baby continues to grow and thrive and you can see it for yourself:). I will be thinking of you and wishing you peace...

My first question is did they check your progesterone? Low progesterone is a culprit of bleeding. If they haven't PLEASE ask them to, just to make sure yours is adequate. Then yes, lots of water and pelvic rest.. HUGS!

I've heard so many stories of heavy bleeding during early pregnancy, and everything being ok. Your beta went up and that's the important thing.

When is your next appt?

I will say a special prayer to my Ampa for you.

I know it's little help but try to remember that many women bleed throughout their pregnancy and it has no effect on the baby.
And yes, the cramping is definitely scary but will subside DRASTICALLY if you drink lots of water. In the first trimester my hubby would put out 4 water bottles a day for me and would be mad if they weren't all gone by the time he came home from work (luckily I wasn't working for the first 10 weeks cause I was on a preventative leave from teaching). Drink up and you'll certainly find the cramping will decrease.
